Jay,
You and I both agreed way back in March of this year that we
would work with each other for 50.00 to 75.00 an hour and you requested 4x8 ft.
of storage. We agreed upon that. I can go back through every invoice and we
rarely hold to our word of 50.00 to 75.00 an hour and we both know you are
comfortably enjoying far more than 4x8 feet of storage space at my location.
I am of the opinion that we have had this conversation too
many times. Possibly you don’t hear me or you don’t care to hear me clearly.
This is again not what we agreed on and I have decided to be finished with this
arrangement.
Because, I am a
gentleman, and wish you no harm, I will fulfill your commitments with your
clients regardless of your inability to keep your commitments with me. I will
perform the duties outlined in the proposals you have sent over as an attempt
at good faith, under the following conditions. The total of these three Jobs is
1335.00 it is obvious that these are again very low numbers, so I would assume
this low pricing would definitely fall under the prepaid discount arrangement
and should be forwarded immediately. The last of the three jobs strikes on
October 3rd, So I am formally requesting that you make arrangements
to pick up your inventory Of 21 4x6 BBD’s and 22 4x8 BBD’s and 1 4x6 whiteboard,
legs, carts, straps, tarps, ramps, trailer and assorted items regarding this
operation soon after the date of October 3rd 2012. In an effort to
no longer inconvenience me with your inventory, without compensation or ability
to earn from it. Please have it all relocated before noon Friday the 5th
of October 2012
It is unfortunate that this has to be the end of our
venture, but I find this exit plan necessary as a result of our inability to
keep with our original compensation agreement. If I had understood clearly what
the real deal was going to be, I would have never considered attempting this
venture. I have patiently waited for our arrangement to be as advertised, it’s
clear that our agreement is not going to be fulfilled; therefore I am left with
no other choice, but to stop this charade.
I believe I have been clear and honest with you and my
unhappiness concerning the actual compensation, the actual requirements for the
warehousing of the inventory and the actual volume of the workload. This exit
plan should come as no surprise to you.
I understand that it is difficult to operate a small
business in any economic time and the challenges for you in today’s business
world must be even more challenging. Having said that, this venture has not
been economically successful for myself, regardless of my attempts to make it
work for the both of us. Possibly the lessons learned from these last handful
of projects will benefit you going forward addressing the actual requirements
for a Los Angeles office.
Please let me know your intentions going forward, so I may
make my plans accordingly,
Respectfully,
Joe Dallacqua
